LEAD MECHANICAL ENGINEER

OCTIO Geophysical AS is seeking a lead mechanical engineer to strengthen our engineering department.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for mechanical construction and production
• Project management for mechanical R&D projects
• Development of concept, requirements and specifications
• Coordinate and lead subcontractors
• Coordinate and lead internal resources within the mechanical discipline
• Participate in detailed construction
• Develop internal routines and procedures

Professional qualifications:

• Master or BSc in related topics
• Minimum 5 years of experience with design of equipment for use in offshore-related operations
• Experience in the use of CAD tools and perform design calculations
• Experience from offshore operations
• Master English as work language

Personal qualities:

• Team spirit
• Ability to think strategic and see the big picture
• Result-oriented and efficient
